Prof. Sinje Gebauer
Professor of Visual Effects, Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film (HFF)
Sinje Gebauer has been working in film and television for 20 years and has been involved in over 30 German and international productions as a VFX producer, including “Die kleine Hexe” and “Black Panther.” In 2019, she established Studio Isar Animation for Studio 100, where “Biene Maja 3” was created. From 2021, she headed Rise FX South GmbH, which grew under her leadership and realized international projects such as “Wakanda Forever” and “Megalopolis.” Since the end of 2024, she has been a professor of visual effects producing at the HFF Munich, where she has been teaching since 2012. She organizes the Munich VFX Stammtisch, is a member of the Visual Effects Society and the German Film Academy, and is committed to digitization and new ways of working in teaching and practice. In 2025, she initiated the first Girls' Day at the HFF Munich to give young women insights into visual effects. She is also studying psychology to deepen her knowledge of collaboration and leadership.
