Dr. Amit Datta

Dr. Amit Datta studied law in Münster and Zaragoza. He completed his legal training in Berlin and London, including placements at the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection and Goldman Sachs. In 2016, he received his doctorate from Humboldt University in Berlin with a thesis on comparative copyright law. From 2017 to 2024, Mr. Datta worked as a lawyer in Berlin at the law firm Hengeler Mueller and in Chicago at the law firm Barnes & Thornburg. Since 2024, he has been working at Aleph Alpha as Associate General Counsel, where he is particularly responsible for IP/IT, product compliance, and regulatory matters.
