Wolfgang Elsässer

Wolfgang Elsässer is CEO of CH Media TV and a member of the Executive Board of CH Media Holding. He is also President of the Association of Swiss Private Television (VSPF) and President of the Swiss Radio and Television Interest Group (IRF). CH Media TV AG is Switzerland's largest TV broadcasting group and, in addition to its eight national channels, also operates Switzerland's leading streaming platform, oneplus. Prior to his current role, Wolfgang Elsässer was CEO of blue Entertainment AG, where he was responsible for Swisscom AG's entertainment business. Before that, he was responsible for TV & Entertainment at Deutsche Telekom, and before that he was CEO of Astra Deutschland for many years and Chief Regional Officer for European countries. Prior to that, he was Chief Sales Officer at Premiere AG (now Sky) until 2001, where he was responsible for marketing and sales activities, and before that he was Head of Sales and Marketing at Grundig AG. Wolfgang Elsässer has an MBA, is the father of four children, and lives in Switzerland.
