Lena Ganschow

Lena Ganschow, who holds a degree in biology, has been working for public science editorial offices since completing her editorial traineeship. As an author and director, she has produced contributions for programs such as “Tagesschau” and “Tagesthemen,” ‘nano’ and “odysso,” as well as entire programs for “Planet Wissen” (Das Erste/3sat/SWR). Since 2008, Lena Ganschow has also appeared on camera in programs such as “Spuren im Stein,” “Kaffee oder Tee,” and “History for Future” (SWR/Planet Schule). Starting in 2015, Lena Ganschow hosted the knowledge experience magazine “Terra Xpress” on ZDF 250 times, has been with “SWR Wissen” (SWR) since 2023, and can be seen in the presenter documentary “ARD Wissen” (Das Erste), which she co-founded, and has been hosting the political magazine show “Kontraste” (Das Erste) since 2025.
