Prof. Dr. Andreas Jungherr

Andreas Jungherr is a member of the bidt Executive Board. Andreas Jungherr holds the Chair of Political Science, specializing in Digital Transformation, at the University of Bamberg. His research focuses on the challenges of digital transformation in politics and society, the use of artificial intelligence (AI), new data sources (big data), and computer-based methods in social science (computational social science). Another focus of his research is the systematic analysis and adequate handling of potential risks that can arise from disinformation and misinformation.
