Hilmar is a freelance editor-in-chief, reporter, developer, and trainer in Berlin, where he runs the Blockfrei journalism office. He also offers role-playing-based team building, is the producer and showrunner of the podcast DARK FM, and writes scenarios for role-playing publishers. For the “Future of News” fellowship, he is exploring how “games in media” can help convey journalistic topics. How can we use interactive live-play videos of pen-and-paper role-playing games to reach a young audience on topics that are no longer accessible to them through traditional media?
