Boris Schneider-Johne

Boris Schneider-Johne, born in 1966, has worked professionally with video games for more than 40 years—as a journalist, translator, producer, and marketing manager, including 25 years at Microsoft Germany GmbH. Among his responsibilities there were introducing parental control features for the Xbox console and launching special game controllers designed for people with limited hand mobility. As a former jury member for the German Computer Game Award and a speaker at international events, he is deeply connected within the gaming industry.
Boris is currently managing B2B projects at the game developer CipSoft in Regensburg, whose online role-playing game Tibia will soon celebrate thirty years of inspiring players.
