Nathanael Liminski

Nathanael Liminski has been Minister for Federal and European Affairs, International Affairs, and Media of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and Head of the State Chancellery since June 29, 2022. Born in Bonn in 1985, he studied medieval and modern history, political science, and public law at the University of Bonn. After working at the Hessian State Chancellery and the Federal Ministry of Defense and the Interior, he was managing director of the CDU parliamentary group in the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament from 2014 to 2017. He became head of the State Chancellery in 2017 and also took over the media portfolio in the current legislative period. Liminski is married and has four children.
