Tim Werner

Tim Werner has been CEO of Mainstream Media AG, which operates pay-TV channels such as Romance TV, Heimatkanal, and GoldStar TV, since 2019. Prior to this, he was COO of Romance TV and a member of the management board for many years. He began his professional career at ZDF Enterprises, where he worked in various management positions for around a decade. Tim Werner is also Managing Director of Mainstream Networks Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of Mainstream Media AG with international broadcasting activities in Poland. Under his leadership, Mainstream Media AG is increasingly focusing on digital media and is increasingly relying on new formats such as ad-supported streaming channels (FAST channels) to reach additional target groups. In addition to his role as CEO, he has been a member of the board of the media association VAUNET since 2020, where he represents the interests of German pay-TV providers.
