Prof. Clemens Hochreiter
Dean of Studies, Game Design and Management, Hochschule Fresenius / Reality Twist
Clemens Hochreiter is a professor of game design at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Munich, where he heads the bachelor's degree programs in game design and management as well as media design and management. He also teaches at AMD – Academy of Fashion & Design.
Since the 1990s, he has been working as a producer and visual effects specialist on interactive projects. With his companies Reality Twist and Reality Twist Fairy Dust, he develops documentary games, immersive technologies such as AR and VR, and physical simulators.
His focus is on socially relevant topics, in particular memory culture and democracy. Utopolis, which he produced, and Deine Stimme, which features film sequences from his company, were both awarded the German Computer Game Prize in the Best Serious Game category. He was a member of the jury for the Red Dot Design Award and is a juror at the GamesFestival.
