Angelika Beranek is a professor of digitalization in social work at Munich University of Applied Sciences. Since childhood, she has been enthusiastic about both digital and social issues. The connection between these two areas is reflected in her teaching and research. She is on the board of the JFF, heads the Bavarian regional group of the GMK, and leads the master's program “Social Work, Research, and Digitalization.” At the university's media I culture lab, she focuses on computer games, educational making, growing up in the post-digital age, and the further development of various theoretical discourses. She is also the author of various specialist articles and books, a sought-after speaker, and a consultant on digitization issues.
