Carl Amadeus Hiller is a Munich-based cinematographer and director specializing in music, documentary, and immersive formats. Trained at the Bavarian Academy for Television, he has worked internationally since 2003 for clients like ZDF, arte, ORF, Sony Music, and Deutsche Grammophon, filming with world-class orchestras and artists.
Since 2022, Hiller has focused on immersive storytelling, directing XR and VR180 projects for the Munich Biennale, Hochschule für Musik und Theater, and more recently, the 16K VR180 documentary CITYFLOW – Loomit’s Munich. As one of the first users of the URSA Cine Immersive, he explores new workflows for Apple Vision Pro content creation.
He is also the artistic director and drummer of EINSHOCH6 and MUNICH SUPERCREW, with over 1000 concerts in 40+ countries.
