Franziska Kues
Deputy Program Director, funk
Franziska Kues (born 1990) has been working together with Kristin Blum in Shared Leadership as Deputy Program Managing Director since September 2023. She was previously an editor and format developer for funk at ZDF, where she supervised and developed formats for the frontal, Recht & Justiz and WISO editorial teams.
Franziska is a fully qualified lawyer and completed her legal clerkship in Duisburg, including a stint at a major international law firm with a focus on media law, IT law and games law. Prior to this, she completed her Master's degree (LL.M) in international law in the USA. While studying law at the University of Münster, Franziska completed additional journalistic training and worked as a freelance journalist for various media until she joined ZDF.
