Stefan Aigner

Stefan Aigner, born in 1973, has worked as a journalist in Regensburg for more than 20 years and has been freelancing for the past 17 years as the editor-in-chief of Regensburg Digital, specializing in critical and investigative local journalism. He grew up in the Bavarian Forest and has worked as a salesman, barkeeper, and courier driver before traveling through Cuba, the U.S., and Eastern Europe. He later studied German, English, and History at the universities of Munich and Regensburg, earning a Magister degree. He more or less stumbled into journalism and today regularly contributes both online and in print, including for Münchner Merkur.
