Prof. Dr. Wiebke Möhring

Wiebke Möhring has been Professor of Online and Print Journalism at the Institute of Journalism Studies at TU Dortmund University since 2016. After studying media management and philosophy in Hanover, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Journalism and Communication Research in Hanover and as a professor of public communication at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Her research activities focus on journalism and reception research, in particular on processes and content of public communication with a focus on local communication as well as methods of empirical social research and research ethics. Since 2020, she has also been Vice Rector of Studies at TU Dortmund University.
