Prof. Dr. Anne-Sophie Mayer

Professor of Digital Work, LMU München

Prof. Dr. Anne-Sophie Mayer is a Professor of Digital Work at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich, Germany. She earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Passau, Germany. Following her doctorate, Prof. Mayer served as an Assistant Professor at the KIN Center for Digital Innovation at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
She has undertaken research stays at Stanford University (USA), the University of Sydney (Australia), and the University of Auckland (New Zealand).
Prof. Mayer’s research explores how emerging technologies—particularly artificial intelligence —transform work and organizing in various contexts, such as consulting, HR and healthcare.
Beyond her academic work, she is actively engaged in applying her research insights to practice. For instance, she leads the annual HR Employee Survey conducted for the Bundesverband der Deutschen Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken (BVR).
