Christian Schicha (www.schicha.net) studied communication science, German language and literature, and philosophy at the University of Essen, where he also earned his doctorate. He habilitated in media studies at the University of Marburg and is a professor of media ethics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. His work focuses on media, communication, and image ethics, as well as political communication.
