Targeted disinformation, AI-supported polarization and manipulative platform mechanisms are increasingly endangering Europe's democratic public sphere. The Russian war of aggression, transnational influence campaigns and algorithmic reinforcement of extreme positions show that Digital destabilization is not an exceptional case, but a strategic instrument. How are Germany and Europe reacting?
