Female Talent in VFX, VP and Animation
First-class film and series productions require diverse teams - not only on screen, but also behind the screen. This is especially true for professions that are heavily involved in the creative process - such as visual effects, virtual production and animation. Too often, there is still a lack of female voices and perspectives in these areas. Netflix, Medien.Bayern and medianet berlinbrandenburg want to change this with a joint initiative that focuses on promoting networking, empowerment and the visibility of women in VFX, VP & Animation.
For the kick-off of the project “Female Talent in VFX, VP and Animation” we invite women in VFX, VP & Animation as well as all allies for Diversity & Inclusion to come together in a meetup with snacks and drinks at the Medientage München to get to know each other and exchange ideas. We will be joined by experienced industry experts such as Christine Resch (Manager VFX, Netflix), Lina Timm (Managing Director, Medien.Bayern), Christina Caspers-Römer (CEO Trixter, Co-Co-Founder IIM) and Sinje Gebauer (Professor VFX Producing, HFF Munich) as well as representatives of the Visual Effects Society (VES). The focus will be on questions such as: How are women represented in VFX, VP & Animation today? What can a successful career look like and what is important? How can we learn from each other?
The meetup is the launch of the joint initiative “Female Talent in VFX, VP and Animation” by Netflix and its regional partners Medien.Bayern and medianet berlinbrandenburg. Let's connect, network and shape our industry together!
